Migdiada...



Els nadons dormen molt, com la meva petita en aquesta imatge... i el seu papa, al fons. És capaç d'adormir-se en qualsevol lloc...

My youngest daughter, actually. And her dad (blurred), taking a nap. It's not Spanish, though, it's Catalan. Migdiada is Siesta in Spanish or Nap in English... I bet it does sound familiar... :-)

I apologize for not realizing that Catalan is a different language from Spanish. I assumed it was a Spanish dialect.

Help me understand that, will you?

James, there's 4 official languages in Spain. Spanish is official everywhere, but Catalan, Euskera (basque country) and Galician are co-official in its "states" (Guess we could call them that)
