I'm so used to typing I think I no longer know how to use a pen. Here's a sample of my handwriting, which is usually chaotic and hard to understand (in a few weeks I'll have no idea what it says)... I know people who still have neat handwriting, like they did in primary school. Mine seems to have evolved into... well, into this mess... So how's your handwriting? I could post a sample but you wouldn't be able to read it. Thanks to the PC, spelling is a lost art too.

omg thie hand writing is kinda painful =D my handwriting is bad but not THAT bad its read-able!
I am proud to say that my handwriting is excellent. In elemetary school there was a daily class devoted to learning how to write properly. We used straight pens which we dipped in wells of ink. To insure we wrote properly and correctly our teacher, Mrs. Ball, generously corrected our errors by applying a rather thick yardstick across our forearms.
Hmmm... I think it's a lost art too, like WM says. Will my children just write their homework using the computer? If that is so, I bet their handwriting will get worse than mine. Buff, why don't you show me a sample??
My handwriting was never excellent, and has suffered from disuse since the advent of the computer, and before that, the availability of typewriters. I can write legibly, if I take my time. Often, I'll print instead of using cursive.
I am ashamed, by the way, as I think a written note is far more personal and appreciated than a typed/computer-generated missive.
