
This time it's from Mexican director Guillermo del Toro. I just saw his new fim, El laberinto del fauno (Pan's Labyrinth) and loved it. I was close to tears at the end of the movie. How can the post-civil war in Spain be mixed with such fantasy? Just leave it up to this fantastic Mexican storyteller...

Just got home from watching this film. It was HORRIBLE! The fantasy-cum-Franco element was what drew me to watch it, but it had so much torture and blood, it lost all sentiment for me.

I did. If you think this movie had torture and blood, i guess you'd never watch anything of David Cronenberg...
No, it wasn't a bad film - had many positives but as a whole I couldn't bear the torture.Perhaps I am too sensitive.
