We went to the swimming pool with family. I caught Alicia in this picture eyeing one of her uncles suspiciously... the one she doesn't like at all. Whenever he's around she feels this need to control where he is. He hardly ever says a word, keeps quiet... not a good pair.

Do you know why she doesn't like him?
We have no idea, and it's been a problem for quite a long time. It started when she was 2 years old, apparently for no reason. The more tired she is, the more she seems afraid of him, if she has slept well, it doesn't bother her so much. This uncle is so quiet. I think I could count the number of words he has said to me in all these years... other than that, no problem. We asked doctors. Some say just don't pay attention, the fear will go away as she grows old (it's been 4 years now!!) another said something must have happened to trigger this. According to this doctor, it didn't need to be something really bad, but something that she didn't like, and staied in her mind. I don't think we'll ever know.
Any ideas?
No, I sure don't have any.
I do think young kids (and animals) have a certain instinct about people, but that doesn't mean they might not have some irrational reaction to someone.
