I don't know what is the point of making fun of an Islamic religious thing. Don't you think that racial?

I mean racist?

I don't think that was the intention of the designer. Or mine, either. I can't think of anyone who would wear this! Crazy designers!

The problem is that this design just makes fun of the mere idea of te hejab in the firt place, which is covering. It is out of question in this specific issue if the designer agree with this idea or not, this is another problem.

I as a muslim am offended from something like this.

I don't think this design makes fun of hejab, really. Designers are always looking for shocking things to show, not just "pret a porter". I have no idea what crossed his/her mind but to me, it was funny that he/she thought of covering head and body and left bare legs... hmmm... why should it offend you? I still don't get it.

Do you think christian nuns should also be offended?

yeap, they should, well if they like. I'm sure some of them are offended but they aren't the enemy right now so we won't hear of it.

It's just weird how much secular societies find it thier business to make fun of modest traditions when ever they can.

its very wierd

So you actually think this designer wanted to make fun of some religious thing? Could be. Who knows. But in this world, everyone makes fun of everyone else. We shouldn't take ourselves so seriously, should we?
